Patricia Daniel
Patricia Daniel has a wide range of international experience. She has particular expertise in education, training and social development in bilingual / intercultural situations, with women and ethnic minority communities as well as management of social projects with children, young people and families at risk. She is skilled in all stages of project / programme design, management and evaluation and in the use of participatory approaches in these areas of work.
She has substantial experience of working with DfID projects as well as with public sector and non-governmental organisations in the UK and overseas. She has worked on evaluation and impact assessment for the UN (UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO and UNV) and is involved in Results Oriented Monitoring for the European Commission in ACP countries.
She has worked on holistic grassroots projects/programmes with a livelihoods approach. In recent years she has developed a profile in conflict-related research, strategic advice and evaluation. She also has extensive experience in gender and development and has published widely in her fields of expertise.
She speaks fluent French and Spanish and has a particular interest in West Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
