Oscar Struijvé
Director and Lead Consultant
Oscar contributes to projects, studies and evaluations across EfC's portfolio. His work has involved collaborations and partnerships across the public sectors - in education, government, libraries and cultural heritage. He has a particular interest in assignments with significant e-learning, information management and ICT dimensions.
He frequently plays a lead role in evaluation and specification of digital information services and resources for learning, teaching and research, with an emphasis on post-compulsory (further and higher education) and lifelong learning contexts.
His expertise covers policy, strategy and operational aspects of:
- Learning technologies and open learning concepts
- Managed learning environments (MLE) and education management information systems (EMIS)
- Knowledge society and knowledge economy developments
- Evaluation and review of information services and assessment of their impact on users and organisations
- Preservation and provision of access to digital resources and collections
