Communications and Project Support Officer
Part time post
Salary: £22,000-£24,000 p. a. pro rata
Education for Change Ltd (EfC) is looking for a graduate with an educational background or experience in education and / or international development to help us to develop our professional network of collaborating consultants and companies, to manage and develop our web presence and to support our professional staff in project administration.
Main responsibilities:
- Management and expansion of our consultant database, including screening and updating CVs, communicating with contacts, taking up references etc
- Researching and sourcing potential consultant and company collaborators around the world
- Working with professional staff to update, write and upload content onto EfC’s website
- Working with professional staff to develop and manage EfC’s social media presence
- Working with professional staff to update, write and upload content onto EfC’s website

- Project administration support including, for example, assistance with project proposal writing, updating project web pages and information, preparation of contract documents
- Information and knowledge management, including development and maintenance of company e-library
This is a good opportunity for a graduate to gain insight and experience in international education development policies and activities through working within a small team engaged in hands-on consulting and research. The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent written communication and editorial skills
- Be confident in various ICT programs and applications including the MS Office suite and MS Access
- Be able to work independently and take initiative
- Have experience or solid understanding of social media methods in a business or professional context, such as using Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
- Be quick to learn and able to work flexibly within a small teamBe confident in various ICT programs and applications including the MS Office suite and MS Access
EfC has offices in central London, close to Liverpool Street and Moorgate tube stations. This is an office-based, half-time post, with some flexibility in the actual hours. It is offered as a 2 year contract in the first instance with possibilities for extension. EfC operates an employee share scheme, occupational sick pay scheme and pro rata 28 days paid holiday plus public holidays.
